K.I.S.S. Chicken Noodle Soup

Good evening everyone, I hope everybody had a good day. For recipe number 2 I decided to do a soup. I chose a simple Chicken noodle that is better than any Campbells soup you can buy and far cheaper. This recipe can be increased or decreased depending how much you eat and if you want to freeze some. Also please keep in mind you can add more veggies if you like it chunkier or more chicken if you like a lot of chicken and parsley can be put in or not whatever you like and thats the best part about cooking if you don't like it leave it out.
Chicken Noodle Soup:
Ingredients needed
2 Large all white chicken breasts
3/4 Gallon water
3-4 Large carrots Diced or circled
1/2 head of celery chopped
1 Large white onion diced
Noodles such as no yolks or farfalle
Chicken Base such as better than bouillon found at the super market near the bouillon cubes
2 Tablespoons of corn starch or all purpose flour

Alright the prep time is about one hour from beginning to end and remember have fun making it.
Step one: Place your 3/4 gallon of water in a large stockpot and start your burner on high.

Step two: Add your chicken base to the water and now here is where your taste buds come in handy. Some like saltier and some not so much, so add about half the jar and taste it if it is enough than good if not add more and remember even after the soup is done you can add more base.Mix well with your whisk.

Step Three: Add all your veggies and parsley to the pot bring to a boil than bring heat to medium and let simmer until carrots are tender about 1/2 hour

Step Four: In a separate pot add water and chicken and bring it to a boil until chicken is done. After the chicken is cooked and cool enough to touch dice the chicken and place in your pot. I run chicken under cold water for 1 minute or 2 until it is cool enough to touch.

Step Five: Next mix 2 Tablespoons or flour or cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons of cold water and mix well with whisk getting rid of all the lumps (also known as Slurry) . Add slurry into your soup and mix well, this allows the veggies to float, bring soup back to a boil .

Step Six: Cook your noodles separate you should only need about half a bag. Once they are done rinse with cold water and keep to the side. Don't add your noodles to the soup, otherwise they will break up, add them to your bowl when you are ready to serve. Enjoy!

Please post any comments if you decide to try this recipe.
